        – is an image or body of work whose meaning is only fully offered to the audience by an understanding of some idea    critical to the production of the images, and is usually not seen in the image itself
        – Sometimes in conceptual photography, the project’s framework or a system to create the images will be created first, and the framework will dictate the production and aesthetic of the images
